The Cousins

.
We break fast at Haig Road. The last time we met, all six, was during my 20th Birthday celebration. And I have to say, Konatt and and Kogie, you need to eat more. You guys look anorexic! Thin thin arms. I could just karate them off your body. I could. Anyway, as usual, we camwhored. I love our laughters, crazy antics, and everything else. Oh. Don't forget our December chalet. Wee...

The Friends

.
We break fast at Sarpino's Pizzeria. This was the first time I've been to the Simei outlet for my guy and I usually frequent the Dhoby Ghaut outlet. The ambience there is much more relaxing. And the latter sure doesn't smoke my eyes like the Simei one does. Nonetheless, going to Sarpino's always mean a bloated stomach afterwards. Oh. And what's an outing without stories and gossips to share right? Andthey say during Ramadhan we should watch what we are saying. That sure didn't happen.

The Family

.
Mummy... you know how much I love you right? I love spending time with you, going out with you and shopping with you and Hisyam. You are my bestest of friend, someone I run to each time I feel happy or sad. Just about anything, I will come running to you. Thanks mum. I just need you with me.

Up yours

And I like to isolate myself, confide in myself and be alone by myself. I find peace being with me. If you can't deal with that, bug off. I don't want you and I very well don't need you. Whatever utterance you have, I don't want to hear. Shove whatever your mouth wants to spill up your own ass. You ain't know shit about me.

Singapore is a stressful country

My knees are turning weak and wobbly. Train rides are excruciating now. Anyway, did you know that the word "Mandarin" (as in court official not the language) comes from the Malay word, "Menteri". The word "compound" comes from the Malay word, "Kampung". Oh well. I just thought of mentioning it. Knowledge is meant to be shared.

Solemnization

Today I attended hoN's brother solemnization. The Tok Khadi was seriously hilarious. Gone were the days where the Tok Khadi job was to simply sit on the cushion, hold the groom hand and say, "Aku nikah kan kau...". The now Tok Khadi give funny speech and jokes as well. It sure tone down the tensioned atmosphere, and I actually found myself listening to all that he had to say. One part that truly made us all cracked up was when he said how people pronounce "Astaghfirullahhalazim" as "AstaghfirullahHELLazim". As said by him, "Yang disebut "AstaghfirullahHELLazim". Kan nak minta masuk neraka tu". He continued, "Ada lagi satu tapi tak sepopular iaitu "AstaghfirullahHOLEazim". Ah masuk la lobang lobang neraka". You should have seen his gestures and facial expressions. Priceless.

The hantaran (dowry). Picture on the left are by the groom to the bride and on the right are from the bride to the groom. (I make it sound so confusing. Tsk)

The bride and groom. Nana, I know I don't need to remind you but... you are married! I can't believe it! So now I shall wait for little Nanois.

Presenting the four Camgigolos. Say... who killed the air steward?

Seriously they camwhore worse than I do with my friends. I even have a video of them doing the army drill, "Kekanan lurus..." And to think all four of them are much older than me.

Spot the three brothers and the three extras. Say... where's Bart?
And again, to think all of them are much older than me. But then, this are the same people who introduced me to laughter (think tears streaming from your eyes. that kind of hilarity) in the form of silly games and riddles at 3am in the morning. So what's not to love about a bunch of over-aged adults playing childish games eh?

And in case you were wondering the lack of yours truly in the pictures, well let's just say I was the photographer today. This is the first for I'm usually in the pictures and not the one clicking the button away. Tsk.

Stay at home

I've been a good girl lately. It's always mum and syam and tv now.
Ok... staying at home can get really boring sometimes; and I can't believe I'm even going to say it - but it can be relaxing too. Minus your mum's nagging that is.

Mum and I watched thailand horror DVDs, catch up on things, share meals together, and I even watch Malay drama serials with her. I'm not a fan of Suria at all. They always play the same old drama series and shows. And the plot is always about love. Boring. Oh but mum filled me in on Anugerah. I watched it for the first time, 10 minutes to the end and I gotta say Maya will win.

So now we've both been procrastinating to watch erm. P.O.C.H.O.N.G. II. The DVD is right on my computer desk since few days ago. So how now mummy? Wanna watch it later? My brother chicken out because he said Asian horror scare the shit out of him. Well. I can understand. I still vividly remember the time when a bird flew into his room, and I was rudely awaken from my sleep to shoo the bird away. Oh Brothers.
So how mummy? Tsk. My mother doesn't even read my blog. Wakaka.

Happy 20th!

Happy 20th Birthday to my "little" cousin, Md. Hilmee Bin Abdul Razak!!

He's the one in black, the white guy sitting on his lap is his little brother, Hariss. Anyway, goodness, we are finally 20, a young adult. And you're in NS now. How time flies... Remember when we were younger, you, me, Azhar and Mizah, we were cute little angels. Now we are all growing up so fast. Well technically, I'm still vertically challenge. My fondest childhood memory of you is at Arwah Atuk's Telok Blangah house. I saw you eating raw tomato and I also kpo, but I had one bite and gave the rest to you. Tsk.

I wish you the best of luck in life and a healthy life always.
InsyaAllah.

Headache

I am having a bad headache, flu and dry cough.
Don't you just hate it when you have dry cough?
It's a waste of energy and breath. Not to mention the effort needed to cover your mouth for each cough. And the hunching of your shoulders as well.

School is starting in exactly two weeks time.
And school will be out in four years time. Pfft. What??!!
I'll be an old anak dara tua by then. 24 is intimidating.
InsyaAllah I hope everything goes well.
And yes, like I mentioned earlier, I'm having panic attacks.
What with the long journey to the west, the what-to-wear-today,
the assignments, the teaching, yada yada.
I should cut down my sugar intake. It'll give me sugar rush and I don't need the added stress.

I've watched transformers like erm... 3times?
Even played the game on hoNey's PSP.
Now I'm going to watch it again on DVD.
I have even memorised some of the lines.
Am I obsessed?
Or maybe I should watch Do Re Mi.
I miss watching P.Ramlee movies.

Goodnight dollybirds.

Not gone

I have not ceased writing here.
I have just been busy and tired lately.
What with school starting in weeks time, I am getting sweaty palms.
I have picked up a new hobby. A lovely one.
I'll let you know when I have twenty posts.
Till then, take care lovely dollybirds.

The Birthday Girl.

Happy 20th Birthday Asyura Binte Alias!

May Allah bless you with a good life.
Allah has already blessed me with a great friend who has a gold heart. (Duh. I was referring to you Syu Bam2)
Muacks. I hoped you enjoyed your 3rd July, last day of being a teenager.

The Beatles are lying.

Can't buy me love as sung by The Beatles.
They are obviously lying.
This shoes are love.

Reebok Freestyle Hi Easter Classic Shoe Womens

Jessica Simpson Women's Roxi

"Pleaser" Hot Pink Gloss Pump 5" inch Heel

Laura Poretzky's Tompkins Wedge

Pending.

Shocker.

I am bewildered to hear about the death of Chris Benoit.
Shit. I rooted for that guy in each of his match and now he's RIP.
I am going to miss the Crippler Crossface and that smile which reveals(ed) his missing tooth.
Damn. I don't give a hoot about what the press is saying, says, or said about the double murder.
For all I know, he's a legend. And I will always remember him as that.
P.e.r.i.o.d.
*
Onto another sad note,
Troll has pack his bags and is heading back to his home, the States.
What a waste. I was just enjoying his company.
Tata-titi-tutu Sprute.
You lucky bastard.

Proot...

Before laxatives: Constipation
After laxatives: Diarrhoea

Why must things surface in the last minute?

Matriculation package to be sent this Monday.
(Read: 25th June!)
And I've just got hold of it today. Bollocks.

And... what? Today is Saturday?
Doesn't feel like it.

Psst... Anyone knows where I could get that extra long black leggings that end at the ankle?
Not those opaque and translucent ones.
That I have plenty. I want this.

Someone tell me now. Please... oks?
Night Dollybirds.

When you turn mid twenties.

He had it planned for us to dine at Figs & Olive.
But when we were nearing Simei, we gave away the idea of going to Vivo.
Eatzi Steakhouse and Bistro. It was a heavy meal.
For me at least; what with starters, main course and dessert thrown at my face, in one go.
Nonetheless, my favourite part of all was when I forced him to chow down my Chocolate Mousse Cake with his eyes closed.
And lucky me, I got his reactions, expressions, and rest, on video.
And boy was he delighted and taken by surprise!
*
The word was well done. But I guess it slipped our minds. Tsk.

hoNey came to a conclusion that their cooking have a little of a Malay "lauk" taste.

I particularly like this picture of him. Ahaha.

Yummy! Erm. That's like chocolate right?

This man sure does love his food.
*
To the man who just turned 25, may you look ever young!
May Allah protect you and may us be together always.

InsyaAllah.
*

Happy 25th Birthday hoNey!

A dedication.

Up till today, I am still receiving birthday wishes.
To the friends, the cousins, the guy, the makciks, the stranger, THANK YOU all.
And yes.. the popular greetings include my petite ness -
How I am a year older but not an inch taller. Thanks eh. Tsk.
Enough about my birthday already.
*
Now, Happy 21st to Rahman anak Zainal!
Mang mang mang, you are oldla!
I wonder if he have made a booking for a midnight R21 movie?
Tsk. See you soon with your Susu cap teko!
*

2 days...

He took my camera and didn't return it until 18th June. So my sony cybershot was unable to snap pictures of us on 17th June. Brothers. Bummer.
*
*Pictures are taken using phone camera*
*

Thank you hoNey for Breeks.
And thank you for Arnolds' today.
*
For everything, thank you once again.
It's nice to have a guy. Tsk.
You know I love you right?
And yes, I do hear you say, "In two days".
: )

Exhausted.

I am pooped from 3 straight days of celebrating the birthday.
To Bestie Fidz, Diana, Naz, Sue. Thanksla korang!
From the kiwi, peach and strawberry cake, the Canadian pizza and fried chickens, the fruit tarts, the brownies and the presents of course.
And I heard someone burnt her fingers while trying to light this.

I guess blogs do come in handy!
It's just the cake I want!

The people who made it happen.

The "tanned" grizzly bear and the talking sunflower.
*
It must have been taxing preparing all this.
And the waiting for the birthday girl to arrive.
But we are even considering you guys made me carry all that home!
I hate you people for that. puik!

17th June. I am twenty.

It wasn't planned. At all.
Ct texted and said she got a car. She offered us all to go rounding.
I wasn't sure that I was going.
I had the day planned with hoNey.
But he got called up for work, on his leave.
Bollocks. I know.
*
Went home and showered after some shopping at Chinatown.
Met Ct and Cra at 10.
Had Mcdonalds until my last seconds of being a teenager.
*In the car*
Darlin: O'oh, 1 more hour to go.
Diah: 1 more hour to what?
Darlin: To my birthday.
Diah: Wah! Da 18!
Kona: Diah! Kakak la yang 18!
The rest laughed their heads off.
The six of us camwhored all the way.
Greatness I tell you. Too say that I enjoyed myself would be an understatement.
And to think I am not into nightlife but camwhoring in the wee hours is pure fun.
Running fast in the rain to avoid paying another $1.73 per minute was pure adrenaline rush.
*While running*
Ct: Shitla.All together $12plus!
The rest: What?!! So expensive?
*After passing through the system*
All of us: Only $3.15?! Biar betul!
And the laughter continues throughout the drive home.
Singing in the car was pure madness.
*Hei hei you you*
Muacks la korang.

Ct with her Subaru.

The people in the backseat.

The supper at Macdies.

That 20th Birthday cake.
Purely coincidental that Ct mother asked her to bring along.

And they sang me a Happy Birthday song.
How lovely....

Kona, Cra, Darlin.

Ct, Eein, Diah.

The aftermath of hungry pigs.

Ct, the sergeant. Kona, the selenge cadet.

Six cousins. Six maniacs.

Diah with her red top and red fire extinguisher.

Ct with her green top and the green bin.
Darlin with the blue top and the blue bin.

It was as if nobody was looking.

The policeman was looking and getting suspicious.

The five budak keciks.
Although I am the oldest among them. Tsk.

We wanted to jump.
But there were people passing by. Tsk.

And when no one was looking.
1, 2, 3... GO!

We jumped alot.
Now we're just catching our breath.

Diah and her possessed face. Creepy.

Pure madness. Certified camwhores.
We stole that trolley. Okie okie. We did give it back.
*
I can't wait for later.
To the five of you, thank you.
I am twenty.
And I am loving it.
For now : )
